Kpren® CPE
Le CPE (polyéthylène chloré) est un élastomère polymère ou un matériau thermoplastique obtenu en introduisant des atomes de chlore dans la chaîne moléculaire du polyéthylène (PE). Il présente des propriétés telles que la résistance à la chaleur, aux intempéries, aux huiles, au feu, aux produits chimiques et à l'ozone. Il sert de modificateur de résistance aux chocs pour les produits en PVC rigide et est largement utilisé dans la fabrication de portes, de fenêtres et de tuyaux en plastique. De plus, il peut se substituer au caoutchouc néoprène dans des applications spécialisées des secteurs des fils et câbles, ainsi que des tuyaux flexibles et des courroies.
